Creekside K-9 College has an extensive camp and excursions program. As students progress through the school, they have the opportunity to participate in various activities at external destinations.
The aims of the Camps program are to:
Students in Year 3 are given the opportunity to spend 2 nights and 3 days at Lady Northcote Recreation Camp in Glenmore, Victoria. Lady Northcote is a camp coordinated by the YMCA. The camp is directed by the YMCA ‘s principles of respect, responsibility, inclusiveness, caring, honesty and fun. These are applied to every program and the way staff approach everyone attending the camp.
Students are able to develop their own personal growth, strengthen their connection with the school community and connect with the natural world through various activities at the camp. Some of the activities the students are able to participate in include canoeing, flying fox, the very popular giant swing, cooking and orienteering. During the evening students are able to participate in a Possum Prowl, where they embark on a fascinating journey around the camp to see some of the nocturnal animals living in the area.

Year 5 students attend The Phillip Island Adventure Resort for three days and two nights in term 4. The camp facilitates a positive community experience for students while at the same time, provides an opportunity for experiential learning to take place. The camp program is fun-filled, affordable, educational and safe. The program consists of instructor-led outdoor educational nature, adventure and camping activities.
Phillip Island Adventure Resort provides a large range of activities that include: Giant swings, high ropes courses, low ropes courses, initiative courses, flying foxes, canoeing, raft making, archery and an indoor rock climbing wall. Students also participate in activities such as bush walks (flora &fauna), beach walks (rock platforms), sandy surf- beach and Board walks (mangroves).

In Year 7, students have the opportunity to attend the Lake Dewar Camp which is situated in the Myrniong Region. During the three-day camp, students participate in exciting activities that are designed to challenge them in a safe and welcoming environment. Activities include the duel flying fox; mountain biking; archery; canoeing; raft building and kayaking. It is through the participation of these activities, Lake Dewar aims to build resilient young leaders.

Year 9 students can attend the Alexandra Adventure Resort camp located north east of Melbourne. During the three day camp in term 4, students work in a group setting to complete a variety of activities such as high ropes course, leap of faith, archery, canoeing and initiative courses. Evening activities include a talent show and camp fire. Students find the camp a rewarding farewell to their teachers and peers as they wrap up their time at Creekside College and prepare to transition to their senior campuses.

Creekside K-9 College will instil the values and develop the skills and knowledge students need to live effective and purposeful lives in the global community.
